· Specific functions that also resorted under this position were: Approval of technical conditions for sub divisions, assurance of compliance with conditions, maintenance of GIS system, traffic engineering, updating of data bases and requests from Government Departments, commenting on National Legislation, health and safety, disciplinary procedures, drawing up of policies, services agreements with developers, participation in IDP and spatial development framework processes, drawing up of regulations, compliance of all legislation especially Environmental Legislation , EIA’s, tender documentation, supply chain processes , financial management – budgets and goals, negotiation with developers i.e. the provision of services, etc.
